Terms and conditions

These terms govern the use of the Woodalot website and the sale of unique handmade objects. Replace the bracketed fields with your legal details before going live.

Seller

The seller is [Full legal name / sole trader], [Address], [Country]. VAT ID: [VAT number or “not VAT registered”]. Contact: [email].

Objects

Each listing is a unique work (or a very small series). Photographs and process video describe that specific object. Colour and grain vary because the materials are natural.

Contract and payment

A contract is formed when payment is successfully captured through Stripe or PayPal. Prices are in euro (EUR) and include any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise on the product page. Shipping, if any, is shown at checkout.

Delivery

Available methods (studio pickup and/or a flat-rate EU parcel) are configured in the shop. Delivery times are estimates. Risk passes when the carrier collects the parcel, except where consumer law says otherwise.

Withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales, starting when you receive the object. Custom commissions made to your specification may be excluded. To withdraw, email [email] with your order number. Return shipping is at your cost unless the object was faulty or not as described. The object must come back in the same condition.

Faults

If an object arrives damaged or is not as described, contact us promptly with photographs. We will repair, replace (if a comparable piece exists), or refund as required by law.

Intellectual property

Photographs, text, process video and the Woodalot mark belong to the seller. You may not reproduce them commercially without permission. Buying an object does not transfer copyright in the design.

Liability

The site is provided as a catalogue and checkout for unique works. We are not liable for indirect loss except where the law forbids that limit. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Country]. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
